MIGAS has a fantastic opportunity for several 3rdor 4thyear Refrigeration and Air Conditioning apprentices to continue their apprenticeship with a large national company located at Eagle Farm. To be considered for this position you must have all TAFE up to date and your training record book. You will work full time whilst completing your Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning).
Your job duties will include;

organize, coordinate and carry out system commissioning and air balancing procedures

condition, calibration and security of instruments

monitoring and reporting customer contact

complete all warranty and defects needs for contracts within the defects liability period and document needs and outcomes in project services sheets
As the successful applicant you will be willing to work with different technicians on various sites throughout Gold Coast, Brisbane and Ipswich areas, be mechanically minded, have your refrigeration and gas licence and be in your 3rdor 4thyear of your apprenticeship.You also are required to be looking for a career within commissioning so attention to detail and good organizational skills will be required.
Your working hours will be 7:30am until 3:30pm (but may vary) Monday to Friday with overtime as required. There is an RDO system, one day off every two weeks.
