Key Responsibilities of the Role: * Participate in the full project life cycle including initial analysis, requirements definition, interface design, data analysis and mapping, development, test planning, test pack production, test running and investigation and resolution of problems and acceptance testing. * To work with the Business Flow Owners and Analysts to ensure service design adheres to the Platform's core architectural principles. * Formulate new initiatives in line with strategic objectives * Ensure scope analysis * Manage the functional and technical design with business expectations. Essential Experience: * Strong Core Java knowledge, excellent understanding of JVM Ergonomics, including Memory and Threading Models * Extensive experience with Server-side development on Unix based operating systems * Theoretical and Practical knowledge of Computer Data Structures / Algorithms * Excellent understanding and practical experience with OO Design Patterns.
