Arrears Representative

A well known national company is seeking an Arrears Representative for their Canberra office. You will ideally have previous experience in this or a similar role.

The suitable candidate will enjoy dealing with people, working in a challenging role along with all facets of debt recovery. You will have the freedom to negotiate effectively with customers either over the phone where possible or alternatively achieve you objectives by being out and about on the road completing face to face visits.

A base salary of $40K per annum along with the use of company car and mobile phone will be available to the successful candidate.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • recovery of bad debt
  • retail showroom assistance as required
  • on phone and face to face customer service and negotiation
  • meeting set targets and achieving results
  • administration of role
  • occasional after hours appointment
  • negotiation of payment plans
  • completing the debt recovery cycle as necessary
  • completing administrative reports as necessary
  • cash handing
  • repossession of items as necessary
