This retailer has been in the market for almost 20 years and is still growing and going strong. They are currently looking for a strong Operations Manager to join the business and really grow ,mentor and inspire their Regional and Store managers.

This role is very a very hands on Operations Manager role as you are really working with and through your people to get great results. The company has a warm and people focused culture and have strong staff retention in the business due to this culture.

Main responsibilities of the role are-

• Managing and overseeing 120 stores in NSW and ACT
• Maximising sales and driving the sales through Regional Managers
• Mentoring and leading of 5 Regional Managers
• Assisting with recruitment and some HR functions
• Driving KPIs in the business and monitoring them
• You will be involved with some marketing and VM components in the store
• Analysing stock and sales reports to help with maximising sales
• VM responsibilities and maintaining VM standards
• Stock consolidations between stores
• Financial functions and wage costing
• Strong merchant skills and knowing your competitors and where they are at
• Overseeing all aspects of day to day running of retail business

Job requirements and experience-

• You are currently in a State Mangers role and ready for the next step with a volume retailer
• You have experience with managing Regional/ Area Managers
• Volume fashion or apparel experience is a must
• Strong leadership skills and ability to get results through Regional / Area managers
• Sound financial skills set and ability to look at the bigger picture
• Strong merchant skills and can think on your feet and react to the changing market
• Strong people focused culture a nurturing and hands on approach
• Strong visual merchandising skills and ability to maximise sales through merchandising
